Job Description
Assistant Accountant required to assist the Financial Controller within this busy finance department. The role will involve assisting with the preparation of management and financial accounts, posting journals, fixed asset register, accruals and prepayments, stock checks, purchase ledger, sales ledger and payroll.
My client is looking for a good all round accountant and training will be given on the management accounts and financial accounts. You will either be in the early stages of CIMA, AAT qualified or qualified by experience. Ideally you would have worked in an SME organisation and/or a small accounts department but this is not essential. You must be willing to learn and have a proactive, forward thinking attitude.
My client is a prestige business with the services industry. This is a very good opportunity for anyone looking to make the step towards becoming a fully qualified management accountant. You will receive a great deal of support and training in a company that has exciting plans for growth
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
