Job Description
Duties to include:
Ø Delivering a fully reconciled balance sheet, on a monthly basis, with full understanding of any variances to budget and forecast.
Ø Providing a balance sheet commentary for use in the monthly Management Accounts.
Ø Providing planning assumptions and models to support budgets and forecasts.
Ø Developing and rolling out best practice in balance sheet management.
Ø Ad-hoc duties and project work as dictated by Finance Management.
Ø Managing and developing a medium size inexperienced team; encompassing expense ledger / cashier and Fixed Assets.
Ø Actively, bringing about positive change within the culture of Finance.
Qualifications and Experience:
Ø Qualified Accountant with current knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP.
Ø Confident with the ability to lead/guide and develop solid and virtual teams, c. 6 direct reports.
Ø Commitment and confidence to succeed within this high profile role and desire for career progression within the Group.
Ø Strong financial modelling skills.
Ø Related industry experience an advantage.
Ø Use of CODA and Cognos Planning an advantage.
