Job Description
Experienced Tax Manager
Slough, Berkshire
£45,000 + 20 % Bonus + Benefits
Our client is one of the global leaders in telecommunications with continuous growth worldwide. They are looking to recruit an experienced Tax Manager for their Tax Department based in Slough.
Responsibilities:
•Advising, tax management, problem solving for the company in regards to tax issues in various countries.
•Conducting and negotiating of all tax audits in various countries, which including pre-audit work by Finance Staff.
•Providing specialist tax advice.
•Advising and implementation for commercial transactions/deals, advising to Commercial/ Legal Teams and negotiations with Customers' Tax Teams.
•Cross Border and Local Tax Planning.
•Working closely with Finance teams on compliance issues.
•Providing helpful relations with Sales/Commercial/Legal Team in regards to commercial deals.
Experience:
•Educated to University level.
•Has at least 5-7 years of experience as tax professional in international tax planning, preferably with one of the top four Accounting firms or Tax legal firms but not essential.
Personal Specification:
•Enthusiastic, flexible with the drive to learn and be creative.
•Ability to simplify tax issues to non-tax people.
•Communicate effectively to people of all levels.
•Good management and business skills
