Job Description
This investment firm is seeking an experienced Product Controller looking to take their career to the next level and work within the EMEA Finance team on Interest Rates & FX Exotics. Our client is a global Investment Banking group who provides investment banking, equity and debt capital raising, research, trading, risk management, treasury management and financial advisory services to companies.
Supporting the Global Rates Currencies and Commodities desks in London the key responsibilities for this role include:
-Maintaining and developing price verification processes for interest rate exotic products
-Contributing to production of daily commentary for senior management on the drivers of the P&L through gaining an understanding of the products, markets and underlying trading strategies
-Responsible for reserving calculations and contributing to the development of updated reserve
policies around those products
-Dealing with daily adhoc P&L and reserving issues
Our client is looking for a qualified accountant or similar, preferably with experience in an investment banking environment or alternatively gained from major exposure to investment banking clients in practice. You should also have a thorough understanding of a range of derivative products with a good grasp of the drivers of valuation of those products, this should include previous exposure to exotic interest rate derivatives
