Job Description
My client is an independent oil & gas company with assets in West Africa. It focuses heavily on working in joint ventures with the indigenous field operators. The organisation has high-level growth for 2008 and beyond and now requires a suitably qualified FM to work in tandem with the site MD on the operation in Nigeria. Responsible for day-to-day operations along with the MD you will advise on accounting policy, taxation issues for new contracts, development of accounting systems & financial control, as well as audit & cost recovery issues, budgeting & management reporting for the producing & exploration assets & responsibility for partner liaisons on JV issues, financing, budgeting and cost control. Ideally you will have international E&P experience be an effective communicator with both a supervisory and technical background. Ability to manage administrative and commercial responsibilities effectively in a multi-cultural environment & a broad understanding of all aspects of international E&P activities is essential.
