Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Financial Controller to take responsibility for the reporting and control of all financial information. This is an exciting role within a top-tier investment bank that offers great opportunities for progression.
As one of the world's leading banks, the firm provides its clients with investment banking, private banking and asset management services worldwide.
As the financial controller for risk, you will manage monthly reports including commentary and analytics for discussion with the management. You will also be expected to provide detailed expense reporting including month on month and YTD versus budget variance analysis. In addition to this you will be hosting regular meetings with clients, co-ordinating quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting and strategic planning processes and preparing the headcount analysis.
It is essential that you are a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and can demonstrate excellent analytical skills and the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders. It is also essential that you have strong experience of management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and commentary writing.
