Job Description

Our client is a recognised leader in the specialised areas of equity and fixed income capital markets, offering an array of products and services to more than 5000 institutional clients around the world. They are currently seeking an experienced Principal Brokerage CFO to join their Docklands based team to manage the Fixed Income, Treasury and Equities Product Control teams with regard to providing daily profit and loss reporting and business unit balance sheet control. In addition value added services include ad hoc analysis and reporting, driving process improvement and ensuring integrity of front to back process. Responsibilities include: . Managing the Fixed Income, Treasury and Equities Product Control teams (8 Direct reports) . Taking ownership of all finance matters for Fixed Income and Equities business . Review daily revenues production and control . Review daily finance and operational controls . Perform and review month end controls and reconciliations . Define and drive process improvement . Provision of cost analysis to the business . Ad hoc business support on finance issues . Become the key contact with regards to system migration and business development Experience required: . Product Control Experience including Equities, FX and commodities . Knowledge of the front to back control environment in a Capital Markets trading business . Back office control environments . FRS and IFRS knowledge . Strong MS Access and excel skills . Equity derivatives products . Knowledge of industry best practice for Product Control and Back Office Control Environments To be considered for this role you will be a Qualified Accountant with an outstanding track record of financial and commercial leadership.
