Job Description
This renowned international global financial services firm is looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Clerk to assist with the receipt, review and processing of all invoices for the UK businesses . Our client offers an impressive array of products and services in the equity and fixed income capital markets.
The key responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Clerk include:
-Process and pay all purchase order related invoices
-Ensure all non- purchase order invoices are approved and coded in accordance with company
policy
-Assisting the AP manager with any other ad-hoc duties
-Reconcile supplier statements
-Work closely with purchasing department to ensure all purchase orders are approved and
receipted
-Pay all non- sterling invoices in a timely manner
-Bank reconciliations on a daily basis
-Assisting with AP month-end corrections
-Handle all supplier inquiries
Our client is seeking a candidate with prior accounts payable experience within financial services. You should also have Excel skills to an intermediate level and prior experience of Oracle would be an advantage, but not a requirement. Our client is also looking for a self starter with attention to detail and a responsible nature.
