Job Description
An FX risk and product controller is required for a leading international investment bank. The role is based in London.
The primary responsibility of the successful individual will be to specifically risk manage and product control the FX desk. The desk may trade a wide variety of products for either proprietary, client driven or hedging purposes. These products will include: FX spot, FX forwards, non-deliverable forwards, FX options, futures, t-bills, government bonds, interest rate swaps, cross currency swaps, basis swaps, and forward rate agreements.
Main responsibilities will include producing daily P&Ls with commentary to be approved by front office. You will monitor risk each day and produce daily risk reports, and prepare daily, weekly and monthly P&L commentary to explain significant movements in P&L and risk.
The ideal candidate will have strong academics and will desirably be a fully qualified accountant, with ACA, ACCA, CIMA or other equivalent professional qualification. Sufficient product control or market risk experience in relevant products is required.
