Job Description

Sales Ledger Clerk required to work within the sales ledger team, reporting to the finance manager. The sales ledger clerk will be offered an opportunity to be involved with a busy accounts department, maintaining the financial records of 3 internal departments. Responsible for allocating cash, carrying out inter-company transfers, and fully reconciling accounts. The sales ledger clerk will also be offered the opportunity to develop and gain experience in various other accountancy roles gaining invaluable experience.
The sales ledger clerk should have previous relevant experience in working within an accounts role. The sales ledge clerk should have previous sales ledger experience, with good it skills, and an ability an aptitude to learn new skills. Experience of dms/kerridge would be advantageous as well as working within a dealership/motor trade. The candidate must be able to get along well with a team and have a friendly outgoing personality.
My client, based in Huddersfield is accessible by both car, and public transport. Working from a 5 acre site, my client operates within the motor trade with over 40 years of experience in working from this site. Part of a larger network, the candidate will be offered the opportunity to develop and work within a friendly environment with flexible working conditions.
