Job Description
Finance Assistant required for a small finance department in North Manchester. As a Finance Assistant you will be responsible for the purchase ledger, issuing and recording the petty cash, dealing with all staff enquiries, reconcile and analyse all income at the end of each week, prepare cheques and cash for banking, and various ad hoc admin duties.
You will ideally be immediately available and be able to commit to the hours of 8.30am-4.30pm Monday to Friday. You must have previous purchase ledger experience and have previously used the Sage accounting system. You will be an excellent communicator and a team player as you will be dealing with people at all levels and you must be able to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines.
My client, a large Public Sector organisation in North Manchester is looking to fill this position as soon as possible as it is a permanent role. They are based near all major transport links however it would be desirable if you had a car as there could be some travel between sites. Along with offering 25 days holiday and free car parking there is the opportunity for career progression so apply now to avoid disappointment!!
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
