Job Description

Fantastic opportunity to work alongside the Head of Financial Accounting in an Independent Fund Manager, who focus on traditional as well as alternatives investments. With assets of over £20 billion under management world-wide and a well established name in the UK market with impressive product offering and plans to grow their network into new markets over the coming 12 months. The company are looking for a Qualified Financial Accountant to join their stylish City office. The position reports directly into the Head of Financial Accounting, and the responsibilities include; Production of financial & consolidated statements, Monthly tax accounting, FSA reporting and Monthly MIS reports. Ideally candidates will be ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with previous Financial Accounting experience within Investment Management, have knowledge of UKGAAP and have experience in one or more of the following: FSA Reporting, tax reporting, IFRS exposure or treasury experience. The role will have 5 direct reports, therefore previous supervisory experience would be useful. The starting salary is circa £65k + discretionary bonus. Please apply quoting Ref CAR103176.
