Job Description
A BLUE CHIP Company in BIRMINGHAM is currently looking to recruit a FINANCIAL ANALYST to work very closely with the CFO and Financial Director. Applicants should be either ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified or Qualified by Experience and have extensive previous analytical experience. An important prerequisite is an understanding of COGNOS planning. This role's main priority will be to provide retrieve financial information from Senior Management and interpret it's impact on the business as a whole for the Financial Director and CFO.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
* Develops, interprets and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control.
* Gathers, analyses, prepares and summarises recommendations for financial plans, trended
future requirements and operating forecasts.
* Financial Responsibility
* Assist the organisation(s) to perform within targeted financial controls.
* Creation of Financial Reporting, Forecasting, & Analysis packages. (e.g. financial reports,
budget vs. actual analysis, capital expense analysis, etc.)
* Analyse financial results and prepare explanations for large and unusual items
* Prepares and reviews a variety of basic financial data and assists in maintaining and updating
company financial models and forecasts.
