Job Description

A new vacancy for a Branch Based Financial Adviser to join a leading direct bank in the Greater Manchester region. You must have relevant experience and hold the FPC or equivalent.

Job Profile
Our client, Britain’s leading direct bank are now seeking an experienced Financial Adviser to cover a branch in the Greater Manchester region for this fast-moving FTSE 100 company with £42 billion of customer advances, customer deposits of £21 billion and 1.5 million active accounts. You will provide a first-class financial planning service to both new and existing clients, providing professional and FSA regulated advice in all aspects of personal financial planning, including protection (term, critical illness, whole of life and family income protection), pensions, but the vast majority of business will be savings and investments biased, including ISA's, bonds and unit trusts. You will be required to build profitable long-term relationships and meeting some stretching financial services regulated sales targets. In particular, you will actively generate new business, analyse customers’ individual financial needs in depth and construct appropriate solutions based around best advice, whilst managing all your own administration, including reason why letters and quotations, ensuring that all the FSA’s rules and regulations are maintained. In return you will you receive an excellent benefits package, the basic will range from £20k up to £26k. You will also receive a car allowance of £4k. The average consultant last year earned £48k, with the top ten advisers earning over £82k. Applicant Requirements
Applicants applying for this vacancy must hold a minimum of the FPC qualification or equivalent and ideally you will hold Competent adviser status. You should have experience in giving financial advice to customers preferably face-to-face. Above all you should be motivated and keen to earn money and hit targets set.
