Assistant Financial Controller CIMA, ACCA
Bracknell
Up to £45,000 Plus Non-contributory Pension, Potential Annual Bonus Scheme, Private Medical, Dental, Travel Insurance, 25 Days' Holiday, PHI, Life Assurance
Our client is a global player in the IT Services sector. Helping over 10,000 clients worldwide, their services keep people and information connected, from proactive business continuity and reactive disaster recovery, to interactive high availability solutions. They are now looking to recruit an Assistant Financial Controller.
As the Assistant Financial Controller you will be responsible for assisting with managing the group with specific responsibility for disbursements including accounts payable, fixed assets, employee expenses, intercompany accounting. You will also be responsible for management accounting covering prepayments, accruals, expense analysis, and site and product profitability.
This role will also involve ensuring the smooth running of:
- Sarbanes Oxley, internal and external audits
- VAT accounting, returns and reporting
- Fixed asset verification and reconciliation
- Balance sheet accounts
- Insurance records and returns
To succeed in this position you must be a qualified Accountant (CIMA or ACCA), with good PC skills and competency using the MS Office suite. You must also be degree educated (or equivalent), and possess a customer focused approach. Your ability to work well in a team and willingness to progress within the role is also essential.
Although not essential, knowledge of Peoplesoft or Frango would be beneficial to your application.
