THE COMPANY:

Our client is a New York-based alternative investment management firm, which currently manages approximately 4 billion. They are currently looking to recruit an Institutional Sales Manager for their recently opened London office. The fund mainly uses Quantitative Strategies and is Equity focused.

THE ROLE:

The institutional sales manager will be responsible for developing and overseeing the company’s relationships with sell side firms and salespeople, and maximizing the value of those relationships.

THE CANDIDATE:

The ideal candidate will either have 2 - 5 years of experience in a sales role within the financial services industry, or will have worked for a buy side firm, managing relationships with sell side sales desks.

Candidates must have an outstanding academic record.
Other essentials include an outstanding knowledge of professional and institutional trading, strong analytical and communication skills and a proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.

Institutional sales experience and a familiarity with alpha generation or electronic trading ideas are also a plus.
