THE COMPANY:

The client is a London-based asset management business wholly owned by one of the world’s largest financial services groups. It is one of the UK’s largest active fund managers. In Europe, it is one of the biggest property investment managers with approximately £32 billion of property assets under management. The entire group of companies have assets of roughly £160 billion under management.

THE ROLE:

A leading Fund Management institution is seeking an established Private Equity Fund Manager with strong past performance to join their ever expanding team.

The role:

• You will be expected to carry out due diligence and analysis on potential Private Equity investments, to monitor existing Private Equity investments and to assist with development of the Private Equity business.
• You will have experience in dealing with Equities; companies that will grow faster and for longer than the market expects, Sterling Bonds (Gilts and Credits) and Property.

They are looking for:

• Someone that has experience in the full cycle of doing deals – initial research, analysis, presentation and closing deals.
• A person that is adaptable in style as there is some interchange between roles within the department.
• Obviously need to be a good communicator and very presentable as they will be dealing with HNW individuals.
• Well-organized, disciplined approach to work with good project management skills
• There are strong controls in place, so ideally want someone with the relevant legal knowledge.
• Anyone with experience in ‘evergreen’ funds in the EU or US are of great interest.
• Very good knowledge of equity and related markets and products.
• Preferably coming from a Fund of Fund background.
