Reporting to the Head of Portfolio Administration you will have daily involvement with the below and will be responsible for the effective completion of certain tasks within a project based environment.
• Trade processing and settlement
• Foreign exchange processing and settlement
• Client and Investment Manager reporting
• Database Maintenance
• Hedge fund monitoring

Together a level of client interaction to include:
• Researching operational issues of invested and potential markets.
• Adherence to client investment guidelines
• Liaising Investment Managers on issues such as maturing forwards, issues with brokers and custodians, restricted countries, withholding tax implications.
• Liaising with existing custodians to ensure efficient day to day running of existing portfolios.
• Liaising with colleagues on developments that affect administration.

You will have:
• Experience in listed and OTC derivatives would also be an advantage
• Good skills in Excel and Word are essential. Experience with VBA, Bloomberg and Biton preferred but not essential.
• A solid level of Portfolio Administration skills within the Finance Industry, with a sound knowledge of Fund Accounting from within Fund Management Administration or similar financial environment.
• A Levels or equivalent in English & Maths.
• Be able to react and work well under pressure & meet strict deadlines.
• Needs to be self assured and an interactive team player
