Job Description
A fantastic independent alternative asset manager specializing in private equity, fund of hedge funds and single strategy hedge funds is currently looking to add to its Mayfair based office with a Head of research reporting directly to the CIO.
This is a key role to support the CIO and add to the Investment Committee in order to streamline and advance the performance of the Fund of Hedge Fund Business. This is a very flexible role where you will be expected to show areas that you can add value.
You will be required to:
Reporting directly to the CIO and assisting with senior level commitments
Research hedge funds across as wide a range of asset classes as possible, make decisions on potential strong investment opportunities and bring those ideas to the investment committee.
Maintaining fund performance records for existing funds and keeping up-to-date on regulatory and industry developments and any implications they may have on the business.
Bring to the table areas which you feel you can add value.
The ideal candidate will have:
Been qualified by experience but a good education would also be beneficial.
Worked within fund of hedge fund covering a wide range of asset classes.
Managed a portfolio of money within a fund of fund.
Formed part of an investment committee previously.
