Job Description

THE COMPANY:

My Client, a world leading Investment Bank with around $2 trillion AUM are seeking an individual to join their Operations workforce based at Canary Wharf.

THE ROLE:

The main responsibilities of the role are:

To set up and maintain all standing data on investment systems in relation to securities, portfolios and counterparties. To ensure the consistency of data between systems through automatic and manual reconciliation.
• To manually process income change requests from reconciliations in an accurate and timely manner whilst adhering to strict business deadlines.
To follow team processes and procedures, suggesting improvements to existing procedures where necessary.
• To be able to prioritise problems/issues relative to impact on the business.
• To take full responsibility for day to day tasks assigned within the team rota.
• To take full responsibility of ad hoc tasks assigned on an individual basis.
Ensure all securities held by the UK and Global OEIC funds are priced daily and the prices are validated within 1 hour of the snapshot.
• To ensure the accuracy and validity of the data vendor feed with regard to prices, indices and exchange rates.
• To ensure the following validations are performed on the security prices.

THE CANDIDATE

• The successful candidate will ideally:
• Have worked in an Asset Manager environment in a back office position although this is not essential.
• Have a thorough knowledge of the investment markets and investment instruments.
• Be able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines on a daily basis.
• Have a high level of IT and numeracy skills.
