THE COMPANY:
A well established investment management company, focused on both traditional and alternative investment product are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant. The Accountant will be responsible for all aspects of financial, management and regulatory reporting.

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Accountant will be responsible for:
• Financial and statutory reporting (for the Funds and the Investment Management Company)
• Monthly management reporting (checking fund NAV’s, monthly management accounts)
• Regulatory reporting and monitoring
• Annual review and maintenance of the ICAAP
• Compliance monitoring
• Monitoring of price and product valuations in Funds’ portfolios
• Monitoring of financial control processes applied by Operations
• Assistance with production of Board reports
• Handling aspects of client due diligence reviews
• Production of ad hoc reports as required

THE CANDIDATE:

The successful candidate must possess the following skill set:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA)
- Experience of financial markets and financial products
- Working knowledge/experience of MIFID and CRD
- Competence with the management and handling of data with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

An enquiring mind and sound attention to detail are essential as is a flexible attitude and a willingness to re-prioritise as and when required to so.
