Job Description

The Client:

My Client is an international hedge fund corporation based in London managing approximately $3.5bn of hedge fund assets. They are looking to recruit an Office Assistant within the sales and marketing department

The Role:

You will assist the Marketing Manager in the preparation and distribution of marketing materials and assist with managing the client database. You will be involved in the organisation of marketing events and manager road shows as well as creating the travel itineraries and assisting with hotel/transport searches

General office duties include;
• Answering main telephone
• Taking messages and ttransferring calls
• Meeting and greeting clients and making tea and coffee as required
• Managing photocopiers for toner replacement and paper top up
• Managing office suppliers such as water cooler company, paper recycling, drinks company
• Keeping the office kitchen tidy
• Opening daily post and circulating to relevant staff members
• Managing stationery orders on a weekly basis
• Managing IT back up tapes on daily basis
• Arranging Courier Services collection and dispatch

The Candidate

• The suited candidate will need to be highly organized and motivated with excellent attention to detail and enthusiasm for all aspects of office work.
• Good understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word is essential
• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential
• Excellent presentation

There is excellent potential for career progression within the sales and marketing department, dependent on overall contribution and ability.
