THE COMPANY:

Our client, a well known blue chip Investment Bank is looking bring a bright individual into a new team that is responsible for managing the product lifecycle from initial idea through feasibility testing, development, approvals and execution to post-execution management. This role is focused on execution and post-execution management with some support for the approvals process.

THE ROLE:

The key objectives of this role are as follows:
• Managing the product approval pipeline.
• Pushing products through to the approval committee
• Putting together the entire product lifecycle: from idea all the way to the launch and post execution management.
• Becoming the tax approval ‘gate keeper’.
• Ongoing of monitoring products / tax exposure and ensuring compliance.
• Forging relationships throughout Barclays Wealth Management.

THE CANDIDATE

The sort of person they are looking for is as follows:
• Potentially someone who currently deals with structured products execution / post execution.
• A person who has experience of putting a process together, potentially in operations / audit / consultancy.
• A candidate that has experience of looking at tax breaks, the implications and potential opportunities that follow.
• Someone that has an understanding of business drivers and in a position that requires more control and governance.
• Someone who is managing processes.
• Creative / self starter.
• May also come from: Securities management / prime brokerage background.
