Job Description
Purchase Ledger Clerk required for a temporary to permanent role working for a well established construction company based in West Bromwich with a view to start immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business where you will be given a varied yet challenging role. Working as part of a small friendly team, your daily duties will include matching batching and coding invoices, processing payments by BACs and cheques, reconciling supplier statements, dealing with supplier/invoices queries, processing subcontractor invoices and assisting with other ad hoc accounting and office duties.
My client is looking for an experienced purchase ledger clerk who will be able to join the business and hit the ground running. You must be able to multitask as this role will be based in a busy office where you will be required to assist with other areas of the business when required. You must be able to pay attention to detail and follow queries through till the end. Excellent communication skills are essential and you must have experience working on a computerised accounts package.
My client is a well established construction business based in West Bromwich with an open and friendly culture. This company offers parking on site and is easily accessible by public transport. Hours of work are 8.45am to 5pm.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
