Job Description
sf group are proud to be representing this 150 million turnover distributor in the recruitment of this new role. The Financial Controller role will report directly to the Finance Director, the post holder will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts and putting together the monthly reporting pack as well as statutory reporting. You will have thorough experience of profit and loss and balance sheet accounting but also be able to provide commercial input into the business.
There is also an opportunity to play a key role in some project work including the rollout of a new system that is planned in the next 6 months. We require a qualified accountant with Distribution/Logistics related experience, preferably in a similar role. The role requires you to use your softer skills, building key relationships both internally and externally.
My client is a market leading distributor based on the outskirts of Wakefield. This role is part of 3 new roles being created in the finance department, this opportunity working for an extremely successful client who have a very enviable client base and is continuing to go from strength to strength.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
