Accounts Assistant / Accounts Administrator
Central London NW1
Up to £22,000 Plus Season Ticket Loan, On-site Recreational Facilities

They are now looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant / Accounts Administrator.
This is an excellent opportunity to get exposure to an accounts environment. In this role you will join their Accounts department that’s responsible for providing a full financial service to the School and its subsidiary companies.
As an Accounts Assistant / Accounts Administrator you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient capture and processing of all donations and financial commitments that are made to the School. Your role will be closely integrated with the Accounts and Payroll teams, and may involve assisting the Payroll Manager.
Your responsibilities will include:
- taking money – banking cheques, charging credit cards, running BACS
- providing prompt and efficient receipts and thank you letters for all donations and pledges
- monitoring and actively managing pledge scheduling
- reconciling commitment data and identifying and correcting errors
- communicating directly with donors regarding outstanding payments
- assisting with general payroll processing and administration on a monthly basis
To succeed as the Accounts Assistant / Accounts Administrator you must have excellent IT skills including MS Word and Excel, and also database administration. Experience in an accounts office would be highly desirable, but isn’t essential as training will be provided.
Additionally, this role will require your ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise your work, with a strong emphasis on attention to detail. You will also need to be a customer-focused individual who can communicate effectively with donors and all levels of staff.
