Job Description
My client, a recognisable brand and part of a wider group of companies, is currently looking to recruit a qualified Accountant to join its busy finance team as Financial Accountant. Candidates will be ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified and be able to demonstrate a strong practical accounting background.
Reporting to the Finance Manager core duties will be to prepare, coordinate and report periodic financial performance, ensure detailed understanding of actual performance and ability to highlight areas of deviation from the forecast financial plan, assist with managing preparation of budgets and forecasts, manage individual and team performance appropriately and ensure written procedures and standard practice instructions are in place.
Communication and relationship building skills are essential as the role will involve working closely with the wider management team. This is an outstanding opportunity to make a mark in the way the finance function operates. Excellent benefits are on offer.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
