Job Description

Are you currently studying for your ACCA/CIMA qualification (or equivalent) with a background in fund accounting in asset management, private equity or real estate/property? We are currently recruiting for several roles at this leading fund outsourcing and consultancy business who offer a full range of bespoke services to some of the most impressive private equity and real estate private equity firms in Europe. Based in stylish West End offices, they have gone from strength to strength and now require talented and ambitious accountants to support their qualified accountants with full training and study support from day one. There will be plenty of opportunities to move upwards within the business and take on multiple projects, staff management and greater responsibilities. Key responsibilities will include:- * Assist with all fund accounting through from preparing financial statements, cash flows and associated notes including liaison with clients over transaction related issues. * Compile and analyse financial information underlying the financial statements, including the treatment of business transactions. * Preparation of asset level management reporting for clients and seeking new ways to provide informative and concise information. * Calculation of deal and fund level IRRs and other performance metrics. * Assisting with managing year end audits * Constantly be seeking to suggest ways your clients could improve their accounting operations We are keen to hear from enthusiastic and eager accountants looking to develop their careers in a fast growing medium sized firm with a flat and open door working culture. People who have succeeded well in these roles and progressed the fastest have tended to come from fund management or fund administration backgrounds with sound understanding of double entry. Knowledge of private equity or real estate/property would be an advantage. REF:102134.
