Job Description

Global Insurer based in the City is currently seeking an Assistant Accountant to be involved in overseeing the monthly close process for the France Branch and also monitor the quality of the Trial Balance, there will be a need to ensure timescales are met. You will also substantially assist in and provide cover on the main London Ledgers. You will be involved in reconciliations to source systems including underwriting systems to the Ledger, consolidations of reports and papers for submission. To be considered for this opportunity you must have a strong accounting background in a similar role and you must have a Financial Services background with Insurance being a major advantage.
