Job Description

City based Investment Bank is looking to add a strong technical accountant to their accounting policy team. The role will be working for a major player in the banking world and will require someone with proven experience in IFRS, IAS 39, UK GAAP and US GAAP. The role will look at maintaining and developing the Group Accounting policy Manuel. Developing Group Policy in response to new accounting standards, and discussing these changes and their disclosure with other Group functions, eg. Statutory Reporting, Investor Relations Working with business units on accounting for special purpose vehicles Providing ongoing assurance of the Group`s ability to comply with accounting policy, in response to Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
