Job Description

Payroll Administrator is required to work within a busy payroll department. This is a superb payroll position which involves providing a support service to customers and handling all related queries. You will be dealing with Tax, National Insurance, SSP and SMP, 4 weekly, monthly and weekly payroll. Must be a team player but be able to work autonomously. This is an extremely hands on role and you must have previous experience in payroll.
Experience working within payroll is essential, as you will be dealing with most aspects of payroll including SSP, SMP and overtime. As you will be liaising with external clients to ensure timely and accurate payment of payroll, excellent communication skills are required. High volume payroll processing would be advantageous as would previous experience of paying sub contractors.
Our client is a Cheshire based construction company who following there review of the budget are looking to recruit a Payroll administrator. Close to local transport networks and free parking is provided.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
