Job Description
Credit Control Team Leader required for a professional services company based in Sutton. You will be responsible for managing a team of credit controllers in terms of motivation, recruitment, setting targets and monitoring performance. You will also be responsible for your own portfolio of accounts and dealing with more complex queries. Other duties include liaising with solicitors, reporting for the board, liaising with directors and managers regarding credit control and IT developments and ad hoc projects.
You will be an experienced credit supervisor who has managed a team whilst being fully conversant with all aspects of credit control. You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the confidence to run meetings with other departments. It is essential that you are calm under pressure with the ability to resolve complex issues and maintain a professional image at all times. You will be adaptable to change and enjoy looking at process improvements. You will have strong IT skills and experience with accounts software and Excel with the ability to manipulate data.
