Job Description
Credit Controller / Sales Ledger Clerk required to work within a large credit control department, reporting into the credit control manager. The credit controller will be responsible for their own accounts, dealing with large key accounts working from an aged debtor. Responsible for the chasing of debt by multiple means along with the allocation of cash once it has been received. There will be a strong aspect of sales ledger involved such as invoices queries raising invoices etc
The credit controller will have previous credit control experience, capable of building long-term relationships with their set of customers and dealing with high value accounts as well as the timely collection of debt. The credit controller / Sales Ledger Clerk should have a proven track record of reducing average debtor days and be highly competent in Sales Ledger The candidate should be able to work well within a team and be self motivated. This role needs a strong character.
