Job Description
This renowned international investment management firm are looking for an enthusiastic Tax Manager to join them and report directly into the CFO and be given the responsibility to demonstrate to the business how tax can play a value added role. For over 30 years, our client has concentrated on the development and implementation of asset management and work management systems. They provide a unique and comprehensive range of investment management and business process management software solutions and related services.
The key responsibilities for the tax manager include:
-Tax compliance - UK corporate tax cycle & managing the company's relationship with the HMRC.
-Tax accounting - monthly, half year and full year reporting under UK, US GAAP & IRFS.
-Increasing tax planning responsibilities with the potential to work on M & A on an ad-hoc basis.
-Monitor tax compliance in all overseas subsidiaries.
-Increased exposure to ex-pat and employee related tax issues.
-Liaising with and managing the budget for external advisors.
The suitable candidate would be a post qualified accountant/CPA and or CTA. Part of their success will be reliant on their ability to communicate to both finance and non-finance individual's and selling the value of your tax department to the business up to board level. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who has professional or in-house experience of working within a listed environment.
