MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT Insurance
To £55000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Who they are
Well-established and highly respected Lloyds syndicate based in the city seek to attract a qualified Management Accountant to their large existing Finance team.
This role has arisen due to expansion and internal progression and is a senior position within Finance; the successful candidate will have full autonomy over a broad range of disciplines and will be integral to the continued success of the business.
What you will be doing
You will be primarily responsible for the accounting of the group's Managing Agency and the preparation of key reconciliation's. You will manage the preparation of the remaining reconciliation's on a regular basis but also the preparation of management accounts including variance analysis and commentary. You would be responsible for the preparation of the group VAT return including recoverable rates and liaison with VAT advisors and Customs and for recording of key balances: payroll, profit commission, pension and income.
Also to oversee the recording of the remaining balances held on the ledger including accruals, recharges and fixed assets along with producing the statutory accounts and supporting schedules and audit files at year end for the managing agency along with as assist with group reporting.

You must be from an Insurance Accounting background ideally London Market but general insurance, Insure side or an intermediately would be considered. A recent professional Accounting qualification ACCA / CIMA is required however if you are a finalist with the necessary level or experience please do apply.
