Job Description
A leading international consulting firm is currently seeking actuarial resources. You are required on a contractual basis to work in their London offices for one of their blue-chip Insurance clients. Length of assignment is generally between 3 - 6 months. Responsibilities and experienced required includes -
- Experience of coding in Prophet, DCS, VBA, Excel (rather than just performing calculations).
- Familiarity with the end-to-end development process used within life assurance companies (design, build, test, review, sign-off)
- Ability to specify Prophet developments by interpreting high-level requirements.
- Some knowledge of life assurance and pensions products and the financial reporting environment.
- Report writing skills and ability to review/justify own results.
- Ability to communicate progress to project manager, both written and verbally.
- Fully competent at Excel, including Excel reporting of Prophet results.
- Likely to mid-qualified actuarial student or above.
