Job Description
This financial service firm is looking for an experienced Treasury Product Controller to take their career to the next level. The role is for the permanent placement of the Treasury Product Accounting Manager. You will report to the Head of Treasury Risk & Systems, and be responsible for calculating daily profit & positions for Treasury, along with the associated MI for senior management. The role supports the daily Treasury business and acts as the first line of defence within the CFS framework.
Our client is the UK's largest consumer co-operative and offer a range of financial products, and provide high street and Internet banking, current accounts, mortgages, credit cards and loans while The Co-operative Insurance provides pensions, unit trusts and insurance as well as financial advice.
The key responsibilities for the Treasury Product Control include:
-Daily producing of P&L for around 15 different traders.
-Management of small team of people
-Responsibility for the production of the daily reporting - accuracy and timeliness
-Development of systems and processes to increase efficiency of department
-Projects relating to Treasury Products
Our client is seeking a candidate with ACT qualification along with a good understanding of Treasury Products & sterling money markets, vanilla derivatives and basic FX. you should also have awareness of changes in accounting legislation and experience of treasury Systems - Midas/Kondor.
