Job Description
Assistant Management Accountant High Wycombe up to 25k
Supports the Group Management Accountant in the provision of timely and insightful periodic management accounts, financial forecasts, and budgets together with supporting commentary, analysis and ad hoc investigations.
Assists with the preparation of monthly management accounts for the business in line with agreed timetables, controls and formats.
Investigates the need for closing entries covering prepayments and accruals and raises required journal adjustments.
Assists in the preparation of periodic financial forecasts including income and expenditure, balance sheet and cash flow.
Assists in the preparation of board packs summarising financial performance.
Assists in the preparation of the annual financial budget.
Assists in the financial evaluation of new business opportunities.
Ideal candidates will be actively studying towards a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA) with hands on experience in preparing management and financial accounts with the ability to show a high standard of work across all areas of work.
