An opportunity has now arisen for a Group Finance Team Secretary to join our Group Finance department, based at our Head Office in Leeds.

Reporting to the Group Reporting Manager, you will: provide administrative, treasury and other support to the Group Finance function, including the Group Financial Controller, MD's and FD's. 

Responsibilities include:

• Providing administration for the Group Financial Controller and Senior members of the team.
• Collation of data.
• Chasing replies and data from all Northern Foods sites for Group Finance, Internal Audit and Tax.
• In addition, the Group Finance Team Secretary will provide: Treasury administration.
• Filing in payment requests.
• Inputting payments onto the Barclay's system and co-ordinate S&OP reports.

Other duties include:

• Summarising and issuing reports.
• Typing of the annual, half yearly report and subsidiary accounts.
• Organising diaries and meetings and making any necessary travel arrangements.
• Other general administration duties will be involved.

Successful candidates will have worked in a large company, within the Finance function, with an RSA/NVQ qualification (or equivalent). Excellent IT skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential for this role. A working knowledge of SAP would prove beneficial. Working to high standards, you will be an excellent communicator, communicating effectively at all levels across the business including at Senior level. You will be well organised, have great driving to getting the job done, along with excellent planning skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
