Job Description

Blue-chip, retail property group is looking for an outstanding Management Accountant to support its senior executives to manage the operating performance of a high-profile asset. Key responsibilities include: the preparation, analysis and communication of the monthly forecast, the annual budget and 6 monthly long-term forecast. As Management Accountant you will also be required to deliver the year end and half year end reporting requirements to Group Head Office as well as managing the quality of the balance sheet. Other deliverables will be to: provide financial control over the release of expenditure and assist with Joint Venture Reporting. This is a management role, which will also involve providing direction to the asset-based finance team. As well as the above core management accounting and financial reporting elements the main purpose of the position is to add value to the business. This includes a turnaround project for an under-performing finance team, financial modelling and involvement within a major shareholding exercise.
