Job Description
This leading Investment Management firm, who's committed to being the best financial services provider in the world, are now seeking a Accounts Payable Assistant to be responsible for ensuring invoices and expenses are processed in accordance with company controls and clients and vendors receive a professional service.
Our client provides investment management and related services to institutional and individual clients, company-sponsored mutual funds and other investment vehicles. These products and services are offered directly and through various financial intermediaries. Operations are principally located in the USA and UK with offices also located in Australia, Bahamas, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Dubai, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Poland, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Spain and Taiwan.
The key responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Assistant will be to:
-Process invoices and expense claims from receipt to payment, ensuring adherence to company
policies and processes
-Raise any issues relating to invoice and expenses with suggested solutions to Accounts Payable
Supervisor
-Ensure required sign off received to facilitate payment. Anticipate any potential issues including
potential delay to payment to Supervisor with suggested solution
The suitable candidate should must have previous experience of having worked in an accounts payable department within a financial services organisation and have an ability to demonstrate understanding of commonly adapted controls regarding invoice and expense payments. You also should have worked in accounts payable role with Peoplesoft.
