Job Description

You will be responsible for a group of high volume businesses & all the inter-company transactions within the group. Your main operational duties will include the interpretation of management accounts & being proactive in making recommendations to drive the business forward. This role will also see you taking responsibility for the improvement & development of the current systems & management information. You will report directly to the FD & be responsible for the structure & management of a growing finance team.
You will be a qualified accountant with a significant level of post qualified experience in the controllership of a finance function. You will be a strong man manager and have excellent communication skills also. Experience of JD Edwards software is a distinct advantage.
My client is a fast moving retail business with numerous outlets across the UK; with a long term strategy of growth both organic and acquistional based.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
