Job Description
Payroll Manager required to run a fast paced payroll in a small payroll department reporting to the financial director. This role includes all payroll, year end returns, P11d's, expenses, deadline with high numbers of starters and leavers, p45, p46, ssp, smp, spp. This is a monthly payroll for around 40 people and a weekly payroll for around 3,000 people.
You should have previous payroll experience for this role as you will have a large amount of responsibility not only looking the payroll team but also producing relevant reports for the Financial Director. Previous experience of the system Enterprise and sage line 50 would be advantageous but are not essential. You should be able to carry out all payroll functions.
My client is a Liverpool based company operating in the service industry. They are growing rapidly through business acquisition and currently have a turnover in the region of 30m. They are currently in the process of centralizing their payroll department hence how this position has come about.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
