Job Description
Capita Financial Resourcing are currently representing their client a UK market leading business services organisation in their search for Credit Controllers to join their team in Cheshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for progression within a well known organisation.
Working within a lively team you will have a demanding a busy role with the following duties:
•Management of a cheque ledger of approximately 80 clients
•Collection of approximately 100 returned direct debit payments per month in line with company procedure
•Initial contract with clients when payments are returned, securing alternative payment and all collections activity to pre legal stage
•Making decisions with regard to the stopping of accounts
•Monitoring high risk accounts and ensuring credit limits are adhered to
•Dealing with escalations of queries and customer complaints
•Building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships
The ideal candidate will need the following skills and attributes:
•A minimum of 6 months of credit control experience
•A confident telephone manner
•Positive attitude and enthusiasm to work
•Excellent ability to communicate at all levels
•Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
