Who They Are
They are a small-team specialised residential private equity property fund who have recently raised £100 million to take advantage of the price falls within the residential market place

What you will be doing

Key finance/operations role in small-team residential property fund with £100m under management which has been recently raised. This role is the third member of the team, with complete responsibility for the accounting for all management and carry vehicles, as well as for the operational aspects of the fund, in conjunction with the fund administrator. This is an ideal opportunity to help grow the business, take on significant finance/operational responsibility and gain exposure to a unique part of the property market. Key tasks will include: Management account preparation for the fund manager, cashflow projections, reg. cap. maintenance, payables, tax (in conjunction with advisers), statutory reporting; Coordinating drawdowns and fund disbursements with the fund administrator; reconciling cashflows; checking fund performance as reported by the administrator; quarterly reporting to investors; investor liaison; modelling of potential investments and project accounting for development properties; Debt management and compliance with bank covenants; FSA reporting; adherence to best compliance standards; produce annual budgets for the investment companies; board reporting and presentation of financials; liaison with auditors, administrators and other advisors; other ad-hoc activities as required from time to time.

Who we're looking for

This role will suit a qualified accountant with a first class academic background and good communication, relationship management and technical skills. Comfortable in a small company environment, with a flexible approach to the role. This is a strong hands-on role and although your communication and relationship management skills are essential, your appetite for providing a first class support service to the team is key. Fund accounting/operations experience (property is an advantage). Accuracy & attention to detail and strong excel and powerpoint skills, including modelling
