Job Description
Payroll Controller required to process weekly and monthly payrolls and annual processes and returns to HRMC, and ensure all PAYE and NI returns/payments are submitted on time. You will maintain appropriate absence and attendance records for all employees and assist with HR functions. You will also deal with payroll-related queries from employees and liaise and manage communications with HMRC including managing on-line submissions. As a Payroll controller you will calculate all P11D records and produce annual returns and payments.
My client is looking for someone who has excellent communication skills and has the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A relevant payroll qualification would be an advantage but not essential. You need to have strong IT skills and have experience of using a computerised integrated payroll/HR system.
Our client is one of the market leaders in retail and design. Their office is based in South East of Leicestershire and their environment is corporate and friendly. They are a very successful company, looking to soon become a stand alone operation away from the group.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
