Job Description

Payroll Assistant required for six months to cover for maternity leave. As the Payroll Assistant, your main duties will include assisting with the payroll of 4,000 employees across 2 sites on 2 different pay dates. You will enter data onto the database and process wages manually, along with other ad-hoc duties within the Payroll department.
As the Payroll Assistant, you will have experience working within a Payroll function, have at least a basic understanding of how Payroll works and understand the implications of the information you are entering onto the system. You should be numerate, accurate and hard working with great organisational skills.
My client is a leading company in their field. If you want to learn and develop your current skill set then this is ideal. The finance department is very well established and personality is key to making this role a success. You will report directly to the Financial Controller and have a small team reporting into you.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
