Job Description
An immediate start is required for an experienced Payroll Clerk is required to work in a friendly and supportive payroll department reporting directly to the payroll manager. As the Payroll Clerk you will be working on a weekly and monthly payroll for a 1000 employees and although manual calculations are not a major part of the role dealing with queries will be one of your duties therefore some knowledge of how to calculate payroll manually will be advantageous. As with any contract there is always the possibility of permanent employment.
You should be outgoing and precise in your work and have previous payroll experience dealing with P45, P46, P6, sick pay, maternity pay, tax codes, setting up new starters bank accounts. The payroll will be split between 3 administrators and the Payroll Manager . You will be responsible for dealing with any queries with the support of the Payroll Manager.
My client is a market leader in its area of expertise, with offices throughout the UK. This role is initially an interim, 6 month assignment. Previous experience in an Payroll Administrator role would be ideal for this interim assignment. Close to public transport links, this lively, upbeat office is really fun to work in.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
