Job Description
Interim Internal Auditor required to deliver key financial systems and probity Audits across this large Local Government organisation. Effectively apply Internal Audit methodologies to produce effective assurance of internal control procedures; provision of high quality reports and feedback to key management; ensuring timely completion of audit plans.
Requires a proactive Internal Audit professional who is able to demonstrate relevant, up-to-date skills and knowledge of practical, hands-on audit techniques within Local Government or similar large Public Sector organisation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential as well as abilities in IT systems. The successful candidate must be able to work under own initiative to strict deadlines.
Public Sector organisation based in South Yorkshire. This post has arisen in a high profile Internal Audit environment which enjoys full operational independence within the organisation. The unit is a well-established in house provider of the full range of internal audit services across the organisation. Central location with excellent transport links and flexible working arrangements available.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
