Job Description
CAPITA FINANCIAL RESOURCING are exclusively representing their client, a leading infrastructure and property organisations with offices throughout the UK and Ireland, who are searching for an Finance Assistant to join the team in their Manchester offices. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career and use your financial skills within an expanding organisation. This will ideally suit a Graduate or AAT studier.
Working within a team of 3 and reporting to the Finance Manager your role will include:
•Sales ledger maintenance, set up, invoicing and liaising with central credit control on debt collection
•Purchase Ledger responsibilities, including variance analysis and reconciliation
•Responsibility for banking all cheques and cash
•Assist in preparation of monthly accruals
•Processing journals via SAP system
•Producing monthly P&L reports
•Reconciliation of payroll costs
•Ad hoc support to Finance Manager
The ideal candidate will have the following skills / attributes:
•Graduate calibre / AAT part qualified
•Experience within a finance team
•Proficient user of Excel
•SAP experience (advantage)
•Excellent communication skills
